A single Tipica cover designed to fit the LDS Hymn Book in various sizes. Please select the size you need followed by the desired pattern.  Once you click the desired pattern, an actual picture of the scripture cover in that pattern will appear in the main window.  You can then click on the loaded image to enlarge and see details.  If you are unsure of the size of your LDS Hymn Book, please consult our size chart.

Tipica is a colorful cotton, hand-woven material that comes from Central America.  Cover is handmade and includes a naugahyde interior lining to protect your scriptures against water, a zipper enclosure, and inner flaps to hold the front and back book covers in place.

Price may fluctuate depending on the selected size.

Regarding pattern choices: If a pattern isn’t available for the selected scripture size, it will be crossed out.  If you select a pattern and need to change your size, please de-select the pattern before selecting the new size. As our patterns change frequently, we only sell items in stock and don’t accept backorders. 

Size Legend:

  • Compact: Made for compact sizes of the LDS Hymn Book in all languages measuring 3.75 inches (93 mm) wide by 5.9 inches (150 mm) tall and approximately 0.65 inches (17 mm) thick.

  • Regular for English, Spanish: Made for the regular-sized English or Spanish LDS Hymn Book measuring 6.2 inches (158 mm) wide by 9.25 inches (235 mm) tall and approximately 1 inches (25 mm) thick.

I have ordered covers for my scriptures several years ago that have held up beautifully. This time I ordered the regular hymn book size cover for my planner. All of our family hymnbooks are the free books left on the church foyer tables - already broken, ripped or colored in. I bought enough covers to cover these plus our foreign language books (we like languages in this house). The covers do a great job of protecting already damaged books and preventing them from further damage. I am very happy with these.

I have my missionary-French mini and my study-abroad-Italian mini books in the same case (cuz sometimes a hymn just has to be sung in a certain language!) I love that the case keeps them safe and together and easily recognizable in my bag.

We also have a Spanish mini and 3 English minis in cases. very handy for the kids to carry around. I only wish there was a size to fit the mini Children's Songbooks so they don't get ruined either!
