Scripture Covers & Totes
How do I know if these covers will fit my scriptures?
Compare the dimensions of your scriptures to those on our size chart. We sell covers to fit any of the sizes the LDS Distribution Center sells. This includes compact, regular, and large versions of the Bible, Triple, and Quadruple. If you're unsure, use a ruler to measure the height and width of your book. Compare that to the measurements we give in the description of each cover. If your measurements exceed those given in the cover you're viewing, then obviously that cover will not fit your book.
I found a pattern or color I really like but it's greyed out when I select my size. Can I still order it?
We only sell what we have in stock. If a color or pattern isn't showing up or greyed out, we're out and it's not available for purchase. Sometimes is can be months before a new shipment arrives after which time the inventory will be updated. You're welcome to follow us on Facebook to be notified of new arrivals and restocked items.
Why do the Tipica patterns differ from one scripture tote to another?
You may find a pattern you like in the small hymn book cover but that same pattern doesn't exist for the quadruple tote carrier, etc. The Tipica pattern line is continually changing and because we want to ship your order as soon as possible, we only sell what is currently in stock for that particular item.
Will the pattern or color I order look exactly the same as the picture?
For anyone who has ever purchased anything online, you know this depends on so many variables. Although colors can show up in different shades on different monitors, screens, and panels, our product pictures have been color balanced to be as accurate as possible. Even so, each person's viewing screen will show colors differently. For example, a color you see on your phone will likely appear differently on your computer screen. Please keep in mind that shades of color may change slightly from shipment to shipment as dye jobs are never exact. Take comfort in knowing that we have the best return policy around! If it's not exactly what you were envisioning, send it back for an exchange or refund!
My covers are really tight. What should I do?
Most of our covers are made to be tight as they do stretch. However, some materials, like the leather are even tighter because they can stretch mores. Our leather covers are made to be skin-tight so they mold to each book of scripture. Assuming you have the right size, here are a few suggestions for breaking in your leather covers:
Don’t use both inner flaps for the first several weeks (using one is fine). Wait until the leather has stretched before trying to insert your front and back cover pages into the flaps. Place the book inside the cover, fold the cover edges around the book, and zip the cover closed. Gently massage the book (with cover on) to help the leather stretch and form to the book. After several weeks, the leather should have stretched and molded around the shape of the book. At that point you should be able to use inner flaps. Some thicker books, like the Quadruple, may not require both book ends to be inserted into the flaps to keep the cover on.
What do I do if my cover or tote has some wrinkles or minor imperfections?
Wrinkles in covers made from materials like leather and suede are no problem--they stretch out and disappear with use.
Please keep in mind that most our scripture totes and covers are handmade by artisans in Mexico, Central, and South America. We inspect each and every one to ensure the best quality and functionality. Although it is not very common, you may find a tiny pressure point on the leather or a slight variation in the woven patterns on the cotton Tipica covers, but our covers are free from defects and major blemishes. Remember--if you don't like it, send it back for an exchange or a refund.
How do I protect my suede covers?
If you've ever had a suede product before, you know they are susceptible to stains. To help prevent stains, treat your suede covers with a suede protection product like Scotchgard. Test the spray on a small section on the inside of a cover before applying it to outside. If your suede covers get wet, remove your scriptures and soak the moisture out of the covers with a paper towel or a clean, white cloth. Do not dry suede with a hair dryer or other heat source; allow it to dry naturally. Once dry, restore the nap with a suede brush. If your suede covers need to be cleaned, we recommend taking them to a suede cleaning professional.
Rings & Jewelry
How do I measure my ring size?
Please visit our, "How to Find Your Ring Size" page for various methods, tips, and techniques to find your ring size!
What if I get my ring and it doesn't fit?
No worries! Simply send it back with $2 for postage (in the United States) and we'll send you a different size. Before you send it back, please contact us for the return address.
Do you emboss or engrave items?
Been there, done that--and we don't do it anymore. We pride ourselves on having the lowest prices and the fastest shipping. Embossing and engraving increased the cost and delivery time by an unacceptable amount. We have actually found it cheaper and more efficient if you take your ring, scriptures, covers, etc. to a local engraver/embosser to do the work.
I'm looking for a specific kind of item that I don't see on your site. Can you carry it?
We're always looking for new related and complimentary products. If you'd like us to carry something, please contact us and let us know. We appreciate any new product leads!
What different forms of payment do you accept?
We currently accept all major credit cards.
This page hasn't helped me. Where do I get live help?
If you need immediate assistance, please try calling 877-222-8791. If we're unavailable, please try emailing via the contact form. Even if we're not available at the moment, we're pretty good about back in touch quickly.
Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship?
We ship all over the world to most countries. To check on the shipping rates for your destination use the shipping estimate in the shopping cart.
How soon is an order shipped once it is placed?
In-stock items that we have in our warehouse usually ship within 1-2 business days. Other items (such as those that ship separately) may take slightly longer. Check the shipping section of each item under the Item Details for more information.
Are the delivery estimates guaranteed?
No. Because we only ship via USPS, they do not guarantee delivery times. However, from our experience, the estimated delivery times are correct over 90 percent of time. And please keep in mind that although most items ship within 24 hours, some may take an extra day or two to ship out regardless of the shipping method selected. If you're concerned about delivery of a specific item, please contact us.
Where do I find more information about shipping?
For more information, please visit our Shipping & Delivery page.
